mmmm were to start bill lacture are boring but hasy we have to blog it so, screen voilence well i kinda says it in the title SCREEN VOILENCE basically voilience on screen being tv. either video, movie but on a screen

this game is the best you a sniper and you shooting enemy from a distance, this game show violent because  it i more personally shooting  from distance, one shot , one kill

theres alot of violence in most games and films

sci fi genra

Warhammer fantasy

in the lecture many weeks ago the austraian dude that name has escaped me take abput sci fi genre were he showed clips of film etc  there are many forms of sci fi gere for example there are film, book , games, music etc

For example  in the board games warhamer there is to types of scifi genre "fantasy" and "40K" one based of mythical creature and the othe in the furre more miltary/ alien based

warhammer fantasy is more creature and spells etc as warhammer 40k is more a tank/heavy weapon type game , i collect 40k imperial guards, also thinking about collecting warhammer fantasys skeaven, but  for my 40 k army there power is in numbers sothe more guys you have the more likly ya gunna win. but ive stoped playing the game i enjoy the painting and making of the models.
Warhammer 40K

for exaple games that are set in the future but th posssiblity that i could happen is there for exampple startrek becuase in th future we could be possible of space travel more than just to the moon and back ( "if youll be my baby")also the possbile of transporting would be nice

science fiction were to start the i many more type of sci fi genre. i am goin to list some and discribe them

tron, a film based  on being in the game like as if we were playing the chracter in the game

Add captionback to the future is  a very good example of sci fi genre because it show past, and future bit of everything, and the fact that atime machine is a car that can go back and forward in time

time machine also another possibblity to be reall the way that a scientist make a time machine to go bck and save he wife but find out every time he saves here she will die another way, as it is her fait to die, the scientist travels throught time to apiont where the moon is going to crash in tpo earth, but gets knocked out on the bumpy ride and ends up many years in the furtue,

star gate in general being atlantis, sg1 or unierse is  sci fi genre because it based on some truth but with a twist for example all the thing about the sorccer merlin in stargate he is a acient, being higher plain of excistant. and all of the alien tec that had be used in there ships like the x302,303,304 and so on it is a possibity that the goverment use this tv serie as a cover up for the real thing

intertextuality

1968 planet of the aples
madagasca 2005
Intertextuality is the shaping of texts' meanings by other texts. for example in planet of the apes 1968 version at the end where the male lead played by charlton heston find out that he been home all the time and says an line " dame you, dame you all to hell" because he find out that human finially blew up the planet. there has been simlar line like this meant in different ways for example in madagasca where alex the lion makes a liberty tourch and malmenis try to make fire, we basically melen burns the liberty touch down that alex made, alexs fall to his knees and says" darn you, darn you all to heck" this is similar to planet of the apes but ment in jokes meaning compare to the 1968 version of planet of the apes where it is meant in a more serious way, on the subject of planet of the apes the new verion of it, also has the same line but said from th apes veiw, were the commander apes (played by tim burton), father is deing which is also played by charlton heston, who say " dam those humans to hell " which is on the simlar line as the 1968 version of planet of the apes.

"wilson"
theres also so some more intextuality between madagascar and cast away, basically cast aways about a man "tom hanks" is lost on a island after the fedex plane crashes, some of the parecel form the plane are washed ashore and omne of the id a ball with a logo on " wilson ", be in stuck on the island make tom hanks slightly made and give the ball aface and some hair in the end when hawk finaly get off the island he loose hi ball " wislon" and shout out "come back, wislon, wilson im sorry . . . . . wiiiiiilllllssssssooooon"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-zaO-hUYag
, as in madagasca the a ball aftre the liberty touch bit were he say something to a ball like "WILLLLLLLLLSOOON"  this i also different form the more serous cast away verion but is still alot more funny.

Realism

In thursday leacture about Realism. it made me think about the different way that realism can be used for example in oil paints, i looked into this in more depth and found some artist which i think there work is really  inspiring.

thesee are some of the the artist (James Neil Hollingsworth) work.these are some of his oil paintings

Pool Platter II.

There is one peace of realism i think that is really great,  this was on a TV series of overhaulin when there were doing up a CNN hummer, where the whole vehicle was airbrushed by many different arts, but any way the air brush artist decide to pull a prank on Chip Foose  by imitating a silly drawing of a stick man in a car on paper taking the mick outta Chip Foose, basically the airbrush artist painted that peace of paper on to the wall like it was the real thing, in the end the  airbrush artist fooled chip because chip went out to grab the peace of paper which was a airbrush painting on the wall. As yo can see in the link below.
